Long Beach State

I attended the first ten minutes of tonights game. It's the first time in about two years I've graces Halton and the sac with my presence, and I must say the students have done a fine job with the atmosphere. It was respectable even though it was a weak opponent. Also, the public address announcer is one of the best I've ever heard. He whips some serious ass.

 

I was there in row 3, midcourt, yellin my head off.

that was a great way to start off the season, WAY TO GO NINERS!!!

 

Baldwin is a fucking rocket that can jump out of the gym. He is going to have a great year.

Basden was solid as usual.

Plavich played well. His shot selection seems to have improved. Probably because he doesn't have to compete with Demon for shots this year. I like him and Mitch in the same backcourt. They compliment each other well.

Withers is a brickhead.

 

I didn't think college baskeball teams could win games without a good player.

 

Good thing Duke had Williams against Tennessee-Martin or it could have been ugly!!

 

Baldwin is the faster guard in the country for sure. He left the LBSU players standing still several times driving the lane.

And QCH, the announcer is good, it's just that the sound system is so poor you can't understand him a lot of the time.
