i wouldn't be surprised to learn the extent of what is alleged is that he only shared information of who was working which games. not that i'm claiming that is all that happened...

come again? nowehere in that article does it say which games he tried to fix. it finds an interesting anomoly and point it out -- sort of like how every call he's ever made will end up on youtube as evidence of his corruption.

until there's some other evidence about which games he was betting on/trying to fix then parsing the numbers is only so useful. he might have only bet on 10 games and he was perfect. or maybe he bet on all of them and had a low success rate. or maybe somewhere in between.

 

True. But lines move for a reason.

And teh 2-7 streak is interesting, no doubt. Don't have an explanation for it though. Still, 12-7 would mean that you made money.

True, but I would say that there is a pretty big coincidence when the line is moving, the over is hit with a pretty good frequency, and one of the refs is being investigated for fixing games.

The vig is 10% (teases are 20%, but only a fool chases teasers a lot), so roughly you need to win 10 bets for every 9 you lose. Anything better than that and you make money. If you ride 63% for a season, it's party time.

 

How far in advance do they post the Refs for an NBA game? When does the general public know?
