    Mendenhall is a more physical runner and seems more NFL-ready, but I like Stewart's lower center of gravity. Because of the way they're built, Mendenhall has to lower his shoulders to deliver a blow and break tackles, whereas Stewart has the body type and strength to get through defenders without breaking stride. His issues are more mental and a matter of what he's used to. I think he's a fine RB prospect if he can stay healthy. He's not a bad player and I have no problem with those who ranked him above Mendenhall, but I wouldn't have taken Mendenhall at #13 either. In fact, I told Wp28 before the draft that I thought taking Mendenhall at that spot would be dumb because we already have a starter and we could get someone to complement DW in the second or third round.

    Based more on running style, not neccessarily body-type, it seems that:

    Stewart = Shaun Alexander/Emmitt Smith
    Mendenhall = Joseph Addai/Thomas Jones

    I could easily be wrong though.

    I think the Stewart-Alexander comparison is fair.
