So who do you guys like locally? I haven't been out to too many shows lately...was kinda neutral about Superglide (they're looking for a new front man, btw), liked Cherry Bomb, MOB rocks, enjoyed Peace and Love.

Middleman has an interesting sound right now.

It's in the loaf, they're looking for a new singer.

Being married, we don't get out to see a lot of live bands and the few we have, can't remember their names... Do like the Frogmoores out of Charleston. The lead singer has a great rock voice... Gavin, I believe is his name... I partied with him and the band one night a few years back at Southend in Charleston, the female co worker I was with was a real hottie and she was flirting with the band... it was cool by me, #1 - I was not going to be hitting it and #2 by the 3rd song we were on the bands bar tab - cool party band, IMO.

A friend of mine plays in a band called Extra Medium. They're pretty decent...

The Bargain Basement Blues Band is always a pretty good club gig. There was this group, Contagous, playing up at hte Irish Cue about a month ago.... Stevie Ray Vaughan type blues. The guitarist and the singer we INCREDIBLE.

No doubt, Mag. It's definatly a hole, but occasionally you can catch some good talent there. Just stay away for the 90 year old women lookin for a good time.

I can't tell ya'll how many night's I've spent at the double door having about 6 or 7 too many Natural Ice's for 1.50. Double Door is my favorite in Charlotte. Everybody pretty much shoulds good there. My favorite local band is Antiseen. Mainly for their show, not necessarily their music.
