good job, silver. I cut out fast food, soft drinks, and cut my portions in half all the time. I still dabble in the above, but rarely. Makes a huge difference to just not overeat all the time. Stomach shrinks and your not so hungry anymore. I'm down 14 pounds with no exercise.

Glad to hear it, Silver. Good luck to you.

My advice is to focus on eating healthy (veggies, whole grains, etc.) while substituting TV or nap time for jogging, or even just a nice long walk. That sort of consistant, healthy outlook will suprisingly add up, even if you don't go to the gym everyday. At your age (and really, for people of all ages) it's wise to take it slow at first, instead of waking up tomorrow and saying "okay, I'm going to run five miles!!" Not only is that a good way to get yourself injured, but you'll probably burn out quickly. Just focus initially on getting youself into good habits, and build slowly from there.

    Hasbeen, that's awesome work, man!

I wouldn't go that far, but I definitely feel better.

Yep. But now that's changing, too.

    9/9/2006: 304 lbs. - 46x30 pants - 4x shirts
    12/23/2006: 245 lbs. - 40x30 pants - 2x shirts
    01/03/2007: 241 lbs. - 38x32 pants - 2x shirts

More cardio. I do a half hour on an elliptical cross trainer 3x per week (roughly 3 miles, 400 calories) and 45 minutes of weight training twice a week.

Total weight loss is 70 lbs. My goal now is to lose another 30, which will put me at about 210. That should be a good weight for me.
