    65 - Number of wins by Dean Smith in NCAA Tournament play. That is a record. UCLA's John Wooden is second with 47.

    65.2 - The percentage of ACC regular-season road games UNC has won over the past 32 seasons, based on a record of 146-78. The second best percentage belongs to Duke at 43.2.

    70.3 - Carolina's overall winning percentage on the road in the last 32 seasons. UNC is 237-100 away from home in that time.

    73 - Carolina has won 73 regular-season and postseason tournaments in its illustrious history. The 1971-72 team won five by itself. The Tar Heels have won three NCAA championships, one NIT title and such prestigious regular-season tournaments as the Great Alaska Shootout, the Rainbow Classic and the ECAC Holiday Festival.

    821 - Number of wins Bill Guthridge has been part of while either as an assistant or head coach at Carolina.

    879 - The number of games Carolina won in Dean Smith's 36 seasons as head coach. He is the alltime winningest NCAA Division I basketball coach. Kentucky's Adolph Rupp is second alltime with 876.

    1,709 - Number of victories Carolina has compiled in its 88 seasons of intercollegiate basketball competition. That's second in college basketball history. Kentucky is first with 1,720 wins in 95 seasons.

    what the fuck has brand proven...what has he won? jack fuckin shit.

    hell, id rank boozer above brand in terms of what hes done. and thats only one season of winning on a team that has a superstar.

    put brand in a good situation and he will win.

    but the truly great players, take a BAD situation, and make it good.

    i guess thats too much to ask from a marginal top 50 player.

    the only stat u need is that 90%ish of those players led teams to the playoffs.

    again I ask you, what have Brand and Fagette done in LA?


    and dont make the excuse that its the clippers. fuckin even charles smith and danny manning took the clips to the playoffs...or maybe that has something to do with who coached em....
