I need some new ideas. Are there any recipes that you use alot and easy fairly simple? I would love to try some new food.

I found this French Toast recipe, think i'll give it a try. It sounds simple and it's only about 5 carbs.

    French Toast

    2 Eggs

    1/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream

    2 pkgs. Equal or Splenda

    Cinnamon to taste

1/2 of a 3 oz. bag Pork rinds.

    (1) Mix eggs, cream, sweetener and cinnamon.

    (2) Crush pork rinds and mix with above mixture.

    (3) Allow to soak until it becomes a very thick and goopy batter (3-5 minutes).

    (4) Fry pancake style in butter until browned and flip over. Cook until done as you would french toast or pancakes.

Serve with any LC syrup or make your own as follows:

    (1) Cream butter until soft (use as much as you need for syrup). I melt it in the microwave.

    (2) Add maple extract and sweetener to taste.

Not my recipe ... got it from another list. This tastes better than any I've made using Atkins bake mix, almond and or soy flour.

I'm going to try this recipe tonight! It got a lot of great reviews!

    DEEP DISH PIZZA QUICHE

    4 oz softened cream cheese
    4 eggs
    1/3 cup heavy cream
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
    1 tbs chives
1/2 tsp Italian or pizza seasoning
2 cups shredded cheese (I use mozzarella /cheddar mix)
1/2 tsp wet garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup lowest carb tomato or pizza sauce
    1 cup mozzarella cheese
Toppings to taste (I use pepperoni, sausage, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, whatever!)

Beat together cream cheese and eggs till smooth.
Add cream, parmesean cheese and spices
Spray 13x9 glass baking dish with oil
Put 2 cups of shredded cheese in dish and pour egg mixt. over Bake at 375 for 30 minutes
Spread with sauce and then add your toppings
    Cover with mozzarella cheese
    Bake till browning and bubbly
Let stand for 5 minutes or so.

    ENJOY!

This freezes well also. I like to freeze portions and throw them into my lunchbox. I microwave them for about 3 minutes.

We made lasagna using whole cabbage leaves instead of pasta. It was very good. You can do the same by shredding cabbage into "angel hair" cuts for a spaghetti dish.

Butter, melted in the microwave, with a piece of provolone mixed in. Add two cups of splenda or sweeten to taste.
