Leftwich says no to Hula Bowl

7:34 PT: The AP reports Marshall QB Byron Leftwich has withdrawn from the Hula Bowl. Leftwich won't play because of an injury, the school said. "He is not going," Ricky Hazel, Marshall's sports information director, said Thursday. "It's a matter of still trying to let that leg heal." Leftwich suffered a high-ankle sprain November 2.


That injury is going to cause him to be poked and prodded like an animal at the combine.

 

that would be the case anyway. He's better off to do private workouts anyway.

Ken Dorsey withdrew, too. Not that people were dying to see him. Maybe it's an oppertunity for someone else to step up.
