    Not the best series I've ever read, but I didn't think it was that bad. It was a leap into largely uncharted territory, and for that I have to give Jenkins and LaHaye credit. I found it mildly entertaining, with some degree of doctrinal haze, but generally speaking worth reading.

    i agree, but the last two books could not have been any worse.

    Don't really recall book 11 too much, but The Glorious Appearing was interesting just from the standpoint of trying to come up with believable dialog between Jesus and the tribulation saints, not to mention Satan and the antichrist. It must've been very much like writing new books for the New Testament.

    But yeah, it was pretty dry and awkward in most spots. Some scenes were very powerful, but those were few and far between.
