I got the two-disc set for Christmas. Pretty damned good. Footage and sound are so much better than the Song Remains the Same. I'm thinking about getting Pink Floyd Live at Pompei but I've gotten mixed reviews on it. Anyone have it?

I would have shit myself if that new DVD collection had existed when I was in highschool.

I'm going to have to get the Zep and Live from Pompei.

I have read some guys thoughts about the Floyd Live at Pompei and they seemed happy...course these are pretty die hards guys. If the Zep you are refering to was released 5/27/03, then that absolutely rocks.

Atlantic Records are proud to announce a landmark event in music history - the release of the mother lode of Led Zeppelin live recordings: 'Led Zeppelin DVD', a two disc set. This marks the first official release of these legendary performances.

Clocking in at nearly five and a half hours, 'Led Zeppelin DVD' has been culled from the few performances which were never filmed during the band's lifetime: London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970, just one year after the release of their debut album; their triumphant five night run at London's Earl's Court in May 1975; and their record breaking shows at England's Knebworth Festival in August 1979; just one year before the death of drummer John Bonham. Also included are songs from Madison Square Garden in July 1973.

    Disc 1:
Live at the Royal Albert Hall - 1969

    Songs included:
    We're Gonna Groove
    Can't Quit You Babe
    Dazed and Confused
    White Summer
What Is and Should Never Be
    How Many More times
    Moby Dick
    Whole Lotta Love
    Communication Breakdown
    C'mon Everybody
    Something Else
    Bring it on Home

    Disc 2:
    Splodge Edit (Live) - 1972:
    Immigrant Song

    Madison Square Garden - 1973:
    Black Dog
    Misty Mountain Hop
    Since I Been Lovin You
    The Ocean
