    Do they give you a loan when you don't even have a job? In ESPN the magazine she said she didn't work and being Lebron's mother was her job.

    It's the OHSAA that has some work to do. It took one phone call to learn that a prospective agent had facilitated the financing of the Hummer H2; it shouldn't be too hard to find the paper trail backing that up. Now that they've decided James actually might not be living the normal life of a high school athlete, they're either going to accept that fact -- opening the door for every high school and elite player to chase dividends, posthaste -- or end his high school career, which means the end of all those hefty gate and TV revenues.

    Sounds to me like an agent may be involved....

    I am guessing that they have an insurance policy for LeBron as weel, so they could have used that as collateral. I agree that this was a stupid thing for his mom to do, but it doesn't suprise me.

    I dont see why this is so stupid. Lebron is about to be able to take care of his family for the rest of their life. She just helped him out right now. I see nothing wrong with it.

    By the way. The Dell Curry foundation wanted Lebron's school to play in Dell's charity tournament a few weeks ago. The school/Espn/Lebron(?) wanted $15,000 to play in the tourny.
