50K Hummer?...high school kid?....projects? I'm glad that the kid has what seems to be a bright future ahead of him. But it makes you wonder about where its all gonna stop. Quick riches seem to make some people flip out, but what would I know about that?

Mom must have a good job to be able to plot down 50G's to buy a new Hummer   . . . . Why can't parents be responsible for supporting the family vs. pushing a kid to go to the pros just to cashin? I hope this kid is the real deal . . I hate to see him have an abbreviated pro career . .

she took out a loan supposedly. Don't think the bank didn't have one hell of an interest rate for it.

Muscaro said the athletic association is interested in hearing what the 600-student private Catholic school has to say about the young superstar's vehicle.

"We have not yet talked to the school,'' Muscaro said. "We plan to follow up with a phone call. We'll see if they know anything about it. We would like to find out what they know. I think it is important for our member schools to know what's going on.''

Of course it's perfectly ok for the school to sell their games to ESPN so they can be telivised.

    Hey Bear,
Is it possible to secure a bank loan on prospective income?

Not sure. Bank of America will not make loans to lottery winners. I cant remember the exact reason for this but I told and it did make sense. I think lottery money is not secured or guaranteed. I'm sure someone made her the loan based on LJ's potential and the interest is probably higher than normal.

If his mom plans to actually live in the Hummer, I'd say it's ok. Unless that is the case, she's a dolt.
