I just got around to watching it. It is a huge stinking piece of crap. Do not watch this movie unless you just want to be amused by how cheesy it is.

Yep, it's pretty bad. Not the worst flick I've ever seen, but one of the worst. I kept waiting for it to get better, and it just never did. Bleah. Definitely a pock mark on Sean Connery's illustrious career, along with Highlander 2: The Quickening.

I read a quote where he turned down Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Talk about dumb career moves.

Sean Connery? Are you serious? Even so, I don't think he could've pulled off Gandalf and/or Dumbledore. People get too caught up in his voice.

Nah, Ian McKellen and Richard Harris were both superb. And I wish Ian McKellan would've been cast as the new Dumbledore after Richard Harris died. Whomever the new actor is, he'll have to really shine in the next two movies, and especially if they ever get around to filming Order of the Phoenix.

Iam McKellan would have confused too many people. They would not have been able to keep Gandalf and Dumbledor seperate.

I am thinking maybe they offered Connery the role of Theodin.
