    This thread has served a personal purpose, I had no idea I had some new HD channels at home. Can't wait to check out some National Geographic :)

    Personally I'd take a small quality hit if that got TWC all the HD channels that DirectV has. I'll give them till the end of basketball season to catch up or I'm going to switch.

    Which means I'll need to buy Season Ticket just to see the Bobcats.

    Which fucking SUCKS.

    I mean, anyone who wants superomg60fps Blu Rays clearly knows everything, I don't even know why I bothered. I just didn't want to see someone regret their tv purchase.

    My advice, if you're going LCD, go CHEAP. The tech is inherently flawed, which is one of the reasons why it's so cheap. If you're going plasma, go EXPENSIVE. A bad plasma is probably worse than a cheap LCD, with it's muddy colors and screen-door effect.

    I didn't know who you were until a couple of days ago, but holy shit, you're a douchebag.

    There are no more inherent flaws in LCD than there are in Plasma. Fucking A, you're that prick that only drinks Coke because Pepsi is "inherently flawed", or vice versa.

    Yeah, that's all I'm doing.

    Take a deep breath, read all your posts in this thread again and then tell me that you are not spending too much time worrying about HDTV.

    Buy a quality tv, plug it in and it looks great.
