Not get precedence. Telfair is the only PG who has early and he got picked relatively low.

Livingston was a combo and at 6'6" was relatively special.

You mean short bus special? That would explain why he was gonna go to dook.

Edit - he was always considered a PG prospect wasn't he?

In the NBA. In college he was considered a 2 with a good handle.

Pretty sure he was considered more of a PG in college.

"For the last two years, I've thought that Shaun Livingston is the best point guard in America,” recruiting analyst Dave Telep told TheDevilsDen.com. “His overall package at the position is awesome. From posting up smaller guards to his super vision, he's big time.”

This was in just the first few listed, looks like everybody had him as a PG.

this is a stupid owning though... Hey lets all argue why a UNC player should go early to the NBA.

You are right it was sly, and he is only right about 10% of the time! :imagestor

Although there have been PG type players to go early to the NBA or right out of high school, I just don't see where a high school PG will that often go pro right out of high school. That is the hardest position to go to the NBA and be able to play anytime soon.
