    lawing, i never knew there were sox bars in ny until you mentioned it the other day. i think that made my year. that is awesome.

    I had a work dinner in the Theatre district last night. watched the last 5 innings in an irish bar with mostly Sox fans in it. the city after the game was eerily quiet. I have never seen it like that.

    I went out with a good friend who lives in NYC and is a Yankees fan to just a bar, and when Damon got his single in his first AB, I was scared to say anything, but the table in front of me erupted in applause. So I stood up and screamed that I was one of them and thank God I wasn't alone. About half of them had gone to grad school at UNC as well (where I went undergrad). Needless to say we all became fast friends.

    Let me say this. Celebrating the Red Sox coming back from a 3-0 hole to the Yanks in front a bunch of stunned, speechless New Yorkers is big fun. BIG FUN.

    i met two bostonians at midtown last night. one has lived here for 8 years now, and the other was here on business. i liked them.
