Great. That's what the world needs; another guitar player.

Larry, just be content with singing in shower.;)

VOR: Can you tell what I'm thinking right now?

teach? ha. i would if i could...

teaching is a totally different ballgame! i dont think anyone taught me. in the beginning, i just watched my brothers. i have 3. all of them play it. 2 of my sisters are very good at it too. i doubt if i can teach anyone to play.

if i were you, i'd go online and teach myself. there is this website where it actually teaches you. gotta find that site, tho. peter frampton had an infomercial about this easy steps to learn the guitar in 7 days. he teaches it. i was watching him sell it on tv once. i say less than a week for you, lar. you are prolly a quick study.

anyhoo...guitars are reasonably affordable. this way if you dont pursue it, you you wont be hurting much. get an acoustic one. gibson or yamaha. gotta have the right equipment. ebay might have some good buys. takamine's are ok too.

fake opera? like how adam sandler does it when he is the maestro? yay! :)

there really are a ton of guitarists. And you'll be expected to play for people a lot more. :D
but do what you want. Whichever path you choose it'll be fun, work, and interesting. Just wondering if you'd done anything so far.
