    I'm asking if you've taken any steps toward it. I.e. research, buying anything, asking around.

    You can get a practice pad and a pair of sticks real cheap.

    drums are cool...

    but guitars....man...can't beat the sound of a well tuned guitar! plus it is easier to learn and cheaper than drums by far!

    guitar, lar. you can learn in less than a week!     :)
