    Well.....Surprise, Surprise.....

Ol' Bobby Johnson through MJ hired a white man in his BET empire. With as much as they thrive on hiring minorities, this was a shock.

Well, he IS a former Tarheel, so that's half the qualifications needed to be a Bobcat.

And they drafted a Adam Morrison a couple years ago. And they signed Matt Carroll to a long time deal.

    You people are bloody idiots.

Larry Brown has had 4 losing seasons (and one .500) out of 28 years. One of those was the insanity up in New York. All but one of those sup non-winning seasons came in his first year with the team.

He gets results. If you try to say otherwise, you're just being obstinant. If you want to complain about his vagabond style, that's valid. But the man is extremely effective. The only guys you're going to find with better records are Phil Jackson, Chuck Daly, Gregg Popovich, Red Auerbach and Jerry Sloan (barely) and all of those guys did it with one or two teams and amazing rosters.

That's really the only reason sly is having his mood swing, well that and pms. If LB were from dook sly would be doing the actual reverse and praise. You all really need to consider this is sly and let it go.

I wonder what they will do in the offseason now. Brown would probably like to add some veterans to our roster.

Click on each team and then click on that teams Franchise Index at the top left, will show you the teams record before, during and after Larry was there. He definitely took over a lot of crappy teams and made them better. That would account for .55 winning % that sly is crying about. Detroit was the only team that was winning before he got there, which he improved their record as well.

    sly out for a troll.

must have been a slow day at the brickyard.

Brown is a very good coach - for short periods. He is definitely a turn around artist which is exactly what the Bobcats need. His overall win record could be better but considering most jobs he took started with miserable teams his won/loss record always suffered as he built them into winners/playoff contenders.

His record of jumping from team to team is certainly a black mark against him - I never thought he was a good hire because he is old - didn't think they needed a coach that would be there two years and retire. I can't believe he would jump teams again - this HAS to be his last coaching job. A few years of Brown - get the Bobcats competitive and in the playoffs (shouldn't be that hard in the weak east) sounds good right now compared to where they've been.

They needed something, anything, to give this team a hint of legitimacy. Hopefully he gets the draft decision. Jordan is clueless.
