Walking seems like it would not accomplish much. It is not strenuous either.

OH good lord. Just shoot yourself.

If you are too lazy to walk fast then just give up. You will be a fatass for the rest of your life.

not true. try this next time you go to the gym. hit the treadmill, set the speed at 3.5 and 0 level incline. after two minutes set the incline at level at 4. after 8 minutes set the incline at 5. after 15 minutes increase it to level 6. you should be able to monitor things like heart rate, distance and calories burned throughout your cardio session. stay on that thing for 25-30 minutes and cool down for 2 minutes at level 0 and 2.5 speed. you'll be amazed at how strenuous that little cardio session is. you can add some low back and abs (core strength training) after you stretch out and cool down. also minor weight training will add muscle that burns fat at a faster rate than, well, body fat does. make yourself hit the gym even when you are tired as hell. you'll find yourself feeling energized after your workout. trust me. it pays off.

You've never seen people walking for exercise? Just walk FAST. Not a stroll. Pretend there's only 1 more piece of pizza on the buffet and you're trying to get to it before someone else grabs it. You wouldn't RUN in a restaurant, but I bet you'd walk fast!

No problem, did not bother me. I think the key will be finding something I like or at least do not hate so that I will stick with it long term.
