    Could have killed someone??

He paralyzed a teammate and only served 4months. That's BS!

You guys don't think it's a coincidence that we have all the DWI cases in the NFL, seemingly? I think it's the way the law enforcement here searches and almost entraps drivers. DUI checkpoints, and cops cruising up and down the highways pulling drivers over for "WEAVING." I swear you can't go out in this town without driving a gauntlet to get back home after downing a few beers. YES I DRINK AND DRIVE, I DON'T DRIVE DRUNK!!! There is a difference but the laws in this state don't define the two, and they should. It's all a big money racket to pay insurance companies, lawyers, State and Local court systems - basically it's a punishment tax. If someone causes an accident and they are DRUNK then they should lock em away for life, but some of this stuff is bullshit.

I'm surprised more Panthers aren't drinking. I know I would.

    I have two DWIs.

I won't even drink one drink and drive now. It is too hard to judge whether you will blow a .08 so I don't even try to gage it anymore. I either have someone who's not drinking drive (very rare), spend $20-$40 bucks on a cab, or find a hotel. Seems like these loaded football players would have someone driving them. Especially the ones that have a DWI already.

My guess is he wasn't shit faced, but he did blow over the legal limit, which isn't that hard to do, especially on Thanksgiving. Nonetheless, he's gone for the season and it's just another black eye at the bottom of a long long list.

How many players total have the Panthers now lost for the season due to something?

Can we now please sign Maurice Smith and Micheal Westbrook?

I hope they do sign them. Talk about a huge upgrade to our team.

I don't see us spending a lot of time and money on players who would have little time to learn the offence before the season ends. Maybe we bring Joe Washington back. I'll be surprised if we do much else.

It is laughable. Remember in 1996 when Dallas came here for the playoff game and everybody was calling them the Dallas Convicts and Cowboy Criminals and stuff? Now that's us.

And I still don't get how we have to get rid of L. Smith, and not S. Smith. I mean to the team, the DWI definitely isn't worse than the beating the crap out of somebody.

I don't know what to think of this franchise. I mean I'm not above some immoral behavior, but it seems like some of them would be a little smarter about it. And least some of it. Fucking Panthers. I just hope they lose the rest of their games so we get some picks next year.
