Fuck Jason and Freddie Krugger. Fuck Bela Legosi too. The Lakers are the monster that would not die.

Jackson has angioplasty. Fox is out, George is hurt, Shack plays at half speed, and yet Bryant still puts them within 2 with 13 seconds to go after being down 25.

And like a bad sequal, Robert Horry's last second three pointer goes in...in....and out. Spurs survive.....at least until the next movie

I didn't think the Lakers had a shot this year. If the Spurs didn't get them, the Kings would poach them. Now Webber's out, and a clear path is laid before the monsters path. All that stands in their way are the Spurs.

Seems like I saw this movie before.

caught the highlights on nba tv. damn. that's about as close as it gets. no wonder jackson has heart problems.

Can the Spurs feel good about themselves after blowing a 25 point lead???The Lakers will not lose a game 7.

Regardless....my predictions are still holding true to form....Dallas and Philly in the finals. Dallas will get past the Kings tomorrow night in six and then go on to beat the the Spurs/Lakers winner.

And I don't see Detroit...who I like alot....beating Philly again. Philly will need a seventh game to beat a well-rested, and talented New Jersey team.

And I see Cuban's boys winning it all!!

Figured on a Nets/Kings series, but with Web out, I think the Spurs/Lakers series is really the finals.

dallas will get spanked by either la or SA if they advance, simply b/c they have raef lafrentz.... and..... who?? no interior game and interior d- they'll try and stretch the defense of either SA or LA w/ van exel and nash on the court- but if the 3's dont fall, they'll get their asses kicked. and that 3 by horry scared the shit out of me last night. with the injuries and lack of depth LA has, i'm shocked that SA hasnt disposed of them yet.

Tim Duncan is fucking amazing in game 6, thoroughly dominating on the offensive end, even when shaq defends him.

edit: they just interviewed magic johnson and he said tim duncan is probably the best big-man in the game as far as footwork and being able to control his body, maybe even better than kevin mchale. Pretty high praise from one of the all-time greats.
