Lakers looking to move up to get Chris Paul

    Offering Caron Butler and their #10 pick to Portland for the number 3. Me thinks that we are stuck at 5 and hoping Paul or Williams fall. Then again I have read that Bickerstaff likes that Martell 6'8 player

    Last week there was a hot rumor that the Bobcats and Lakers had agreed to a trade that would have sent the 5th pick to the Lakers for Butler and the 10th pick. It was so hot that ESPN changed their official draft board for a while to show the Lakers with the 5th pick and the Bobcats with the 10th pick. Of course that turned out to be bull. I've also read that the Lakers have offered Caron and the 10th to the Blazers, Pacers and Raptors for various players and draft choices.
