They are saying now that the storm veered to the east a bit and may spare New Orleans from the worst of it. Sounds like it may not be as bad as feared. I bet that superdome is one miserable place right now though.

They're not going to get the strong storm surge that comes on the east side of the eye. Thankfully, their has been only one levee breach on the lake side and hopefully minimum flooding.

Hot and humid inside the dome. Stinky, I bet. Looks like the drunks were right on this one. They just stayed at home and got plastered.

I was watching some coverage on Fox News yesterday and they only had audio. Sheppard Smith goes up to this guy who is out walking his dogs and asks "What are you still doing here"? the guy responds "None of your F*ing business". It went out on live TV. It was pretty funny.

My wife accidentally referred to it as the SuperDorm this morning.

    Brilliant!

I do hope NO has dodged the bullet.

    Sometimes here, sometimes there

I'd like to have seen that.

Hey, shouldn't Fox get fined for that? I mean, aren't they responsible for whoever's on a program or in a shot- what comes outa their mouth?
