Here's hoping that's not the new name in a few days. It looks like I'll be down there for the season to help with the recovery efforts. I'll have to try to catch the panther games in sports bars with the saints fans. Damn

    No Adjusting,
I figure out how much money it takes to put the house or business back to where it was before the storm.

My hubby is a computer programmer for a company that designs insurance software for insurance companies. He said that their programs that they just released to insurance companies in the Miss. and Lou. area are going to get their first real test. It should be interesting for you and those companies. Good luck.

I guess we should really feel sorry for the people in Fla. He told me that insurance companies don't write policies there anymore, so chances are that those people don't have any coverage. At least LA and MS have insurance coverage, hopefully.

Here's hoping nothing bad happens down there so when we spank the Saints next week they won't have any excuses.

The one thing that I've been hearing all day that has me worried is that the Super Dome is only rated to withstand winds from a category 3 hurricane. This thing is still a category 5 (165 mph winds) as of 8:00 tonight. The damn place could end up being one big death trap should the worst happen.

That's strange. I've heard 200 mph winds. Hmm.

I heard on the news that it's rated to take winds up to 200mph, and that it's above sea level, which is why there are 70,000 people there right now.
