They should do well in their conference. However, like us, they don't guard anybody. Our team defense is horrible. People don't seem to know their assignment when the ball rotates. This is troubling sense we have veteran players on this team. We give up way too many wide open 3s and chipshots under the basket. I wish Coach would play good oldfashion man-to-man for one entire game. If the starters can't cut it, put someone else in.

Plavich and Withers 0-6 from the FT line. I don't know what to say about this.

Speaking of Withers, did anyone else get the impression that he is frustrated about not getting the ball more to the point of pouting? Curt and Coach need to put their heads together so as to figure out a way to get Curt going. Without him playing at a high level we are very mediocre.

 

Despite all that I'm still driving 300 miles one way to see the Niners play on Saturday!! GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
