    I'm really torn on this one.

    The baseball Kirby was a joy to watch and seemed to love life and get everyone around him to feel the same. The after baseball Kirby seemed like a bitter, bitter man who couldn't handle the curve ball that life threw at him.

    I know it sounds cold, but maybe this was one of those cases where Kirby was better off dying young than suffering through a situation that he obviously was having a really hard time dealing with.
