Gladhatter I am trying to see your point but you make her out to be so naive at 19. Now if this were the 50's yes 19 would be naive, not today. Heck they are alot more enlightened than most parents would like to imagine. There is alot of blame to go around here. She had no business going up to his room at midnight. While Kobe had to know better than to think he could step out on his marriage and not get caught.

 

True but......You HAVE to see that a multi-millionaire NBA prick would be a LOT more sophisticated than a 19 year old girl from Whitebread, CO! That's all I am saying. He wasn't JUST a basketball player...he WAS one of the biggest names in sports today...Mike, Tiger and Kobe were at the TOP of a pretty big fucking heap. Tell me you're joking! He is perhaps (currently) the most famous basketball player in the WORLD. He has been around the block a few more times than little Miss Whitebread! It would simply be nice to see the innocent until proven guilty concept applied on both sides. Consistently. Do I think she's as pure as the driven snow? Hell no. But if you are going to pull out "innocent until proven guilty" to defend Kobe, then try at least going through the motions in applying it to her as well instead of telling us how her going up there makes it "her fault". That's a load of horseshit - especially if you mean it in reference to the question of her being raped. I don't think that's where you are going but that's a thin line to tread.

First and foremost Kobe is a freaking scumbag for straying on his wife.

Do I believe he raped her? No, I think it was consentual. Why do I think it was of her own free will, because she went up to his room to have sex. She wasn't kicking and screaming as she went upstairs. While I view rape as the worst thing anyone can do to anyone short of murder she has to share in the blame. I just don't buy her being able to say as he was penetrating her consentually, "I changed my mind, lets stop" That may sound sharp but unless she was 100% wanting to have sex with this married man she shouldn't have gone up to his hotel room. As much as he is guilty of adultry, her knowingly going up to a married mans room to have sex doesn't speak well of her moral fiber either. Blame can go around on this but until all the facts come out we are al just speculating

 

You are right, of course. She's no saint. Adulterers are fucktards. I just don't think that equates to "she wanted it". There seems to be a shitload of that going around lately.

Edit: Just reread that post. Missed a line earlier and I guess you do think she shares the blame even if he did it. Damn. That's just some flat out sorry shit there.

 

It doesn't matter if he she fucked him in the past or even if she went up there to fuck him that night- It doesn't matter if she took off his clothes and then stripped for him and sucked his dick...... If she said NO and he didn't stop, It's Rape. No if's and's of but's about it.

I hope that Kobe is innocent and it's just a woman wanting money but, I will hold off judging them both until the trial.
