Kobe Not Happy

He was just on Dan Patrick. He kinda backed off a little bit from the demand a trade thing. He started the interview saying he did, but then he started rambling on about "trusting Phil to help me" and "maybe getting Jerry West," and then said he wants to be a Laker for life.

He mostly sounds pissed at management. He read in the NY Times that a "laker insider" said Kobe had a hand in trading Shaq. The Press has speculated that for years, but this was the first time laker management was quoted at saying that. Kobe said this was not true, he never made it Shaq or him had to go. So now he's pissed.

Mitch K is one of the worst GMs in sports. Trading Butler for Kwambe Brown? Smush Parker should be coming off the bench on the And One tour, not starting for the Lakers.

I think Kobe stays, and they pull of a trade for some mid level unhappy star like Jermaine O'Neal or something.

 

I think Kobe is just trying to keep his name in the news.
