    private morgan has a good knuckle pitch.

    billj should concentrate on developing one.

    phil neikro's license plate says "knucksie".

    stay in the box. bail out and you are done. it's the ultimate sucker pitch.

    applejack is a helluva big dood. i seen his stats and he had a nice career. been great if he spent more time in the bigs, but i guess those things happen. i know, remotely, 2 current mlb players. mark watson, who just rejoined the reds 40 man roster, most likely to be cast out soon and john flaherty, former devil ray and current yankee.

    Never quite understood what a 'knuckle curve' really was. Isn't it kind of an oxymoron? Knuckle ball=no rotation,
    Curve=lots of rotation

    What gives?

    A knuckle curve does not have the reaction of a knuckleball. It's called that becuse of the grip with the knuckles. Former Pittsburgh Pirate closer Jim Gott threw one of the best I ever saw.
