    i like watching them in slow motion. the ball might get a half a revolution on it's way to the plate.....

    crazy.

    If it gets more than that, it's over the fence - cause it ain't dropping.

    I used to be able to throw a hell of a knuckleball.

    i've never faced a knuckleballer. i imagine it would piss me off tho.

    when a knuckler is on he can make very good hitters look foolish. wakefield has it working pretty good this evening.

    did you guys know Wakefield was a 1B/outfielder in the minors they converted?

    I never could throw the damn thing.

    i had no idea he was a position player. i would love to be able to throw a knuckler. i could be rich or at least have a cool trick to show at cookouts.

    on a similar note. a properly thrown knuckle curve is a sick pitch to try and hit. that thing is disgustingly nasty.

    Knuckleballs kick ass. I used to could throw a decent one when I was a kid. Maybe I still can...haven't tried in about 10 years.

    And what's almost as cool is making contact with one...it's such a weird feeling, like a total deadening of the bat. Cool shit.

    I was in the Pirate organization with him when he was converted. He could'nt hit water if he fell out of a boat in the Atlantic.
    But, that knuckleball has made him millions.
