    no he's got one more year.

    next year is make or break for him.

    If UNC isn't a top ten team next year or folds at seasons end like his 1st 3 teams did then he is toast.

    He has NO excuses next year. This year he skates by ( barely) on the five freshmen that get major playing time.

    Thats his ( and our) last excuse.

    I have no dog in this hunt, so I'll offer up a thought...

    In the games I have seen (6 or 7 I think) I have to say that UNC seems unorganized and uninspired if not flat out bad at times. For example, what the hell were they doing in OT last night? Dribble, dribble, long jumper. WTF? What kind of offense is that?

    Not looking to beat a dead horse or get in a flame war here, I'm just wanting to express my shock at what I've seen. Even when Doh was at ND his team did not look/play like this.

    Doherty has some serious problems. Now I dont want to speculate about the off court issues. What I'm seeing during the games troubles me about his ABILITY to manage THE GAME. He appears to lose his composure, becomming a spectator instead of considering strategy or counter strategy. This is a deadly mistake at even the pee-wee level. IMO he is in way over his head, lacking the coolness to perform at a high level under pressure AS A COACH. Some guys have it and some dont.
