Has anyone ever had problems with their meniscus? From time to time and for no reason (I can be lying in bed, sitting at a desk..) my left knee will get a sharp, gripping burning pain located on the upper inside portion of the knee. A friend of mine had a torn meniscus and he said it sounded very familiar. The pain is in one specific small location. I will get these attacks (for lack of better word) maybe a half dozen times a week and they last about 15 minutes. Feels like every time my heart beats I feel this gripping pain. Sound familiar to anyone? :bulb:

No measurable swelling that I can see. I had to squat down to get something in a lower cabinet in the kitchen, sharp pain about dropped me to my knees. Stood up and it relieved the pain somewhat. 15 minutes later it's fine
