    where is kirk gibson these days??? there is a guy now by the name of Russ that is very similar to him. Russ can hit like gibson and pitch like b. wagner. im goin to refer Russ to gibson, so that they can meet up and eat out somewhere and discuss some great baseball over a great dinner.

    I think that Gibson is the Tigers' hitting coach.

    his buddy allen trammel hired him. i didn't know that, they've just highlighted him in the crowd during a couple of piston games I was watching and that's what they said.

    technically, his title is Bench Coach. But yeah, Trammel hired him and Lance Parrish to be on his staff. Wanted to bring back some of the Tigers' glory days guys to try to motivate some of the young kids on the roster.

    gibson gave the dodgers the greatest moment in baseball history when he hit that walk off homer to win the game- while hurt- over baseball's best closer.

    yea russ have an era at burns of like a 0.62 so if the 49er's would come give him a look at i think that big p. russ could turns some head and make it a good year at charlotte right out of high school

    p. russ is the best and the only 1st baseman that can pitch like he can and they're never going to be anyone better
