    I saw this last Friday. It's a good movie but it's too long. It's rather anticlimatic, since everyone knows the story but the scenes with Kong are awesome and Jackson established a good relationship with Kong and Ann. I give it a B+ due to length, othewise it woudl be an A.

    I'll probably like it then. I hate most movies because they're too short. Anything less than 2 hours is too short in my opinon. Sounds good!

    The extended cuts of the LOTR films are all 4 and 5 hours long.

    Kong being longer than expected should be the status quo when Peter Jackson is directing.

    I agree with SS. Jackson always tells the story very well and very detailed, so I'm sure the length is fine.

    on a side note, I wonder if there will be a 4-5 hour redux director's cut of Kong. :woot:

    I am watching this right now and they could have easily cut out the 1st 45 minutes. I thought this was supposed to be a drama, not a crappy fantasy with comic relief. I hope the next 2 hours are better than the first 2.
