    1) GoGo was a ill little bitch, wasn't she :D :D ? ? ? She can be in my security detail anytime :) :) . . What she did to that poor ugly ass Jap guy who thought he was gonna get him some was simply sick (but thoroughly entertaining :) :) !!!!!!!!). And this girl isn't even 20 years old yet (checked her bio over at us.imdb.com) . . I think she will be in KB2 also, which is good :D :D !!!!!!!!

    2) Remember at the meeting (this was after the anime scene detailing how she got became the head Tokyo Mob boss) when one of the mob bosses got ill that a mixed breed (and a very fine one at that :D :D !!!!!!!) got control of the mob? She stops talking Japanese and explains in English in a matter of fact pose (kinda like your school grade teacher breaking down what he/she expected of you for the year on the first day of school 'back in the day') that she would be happy to talk with anybody about their concerns anytime they want :) **

**(except for her race issue, after which she runs down the table and promptly choped the poor guys head off with her sword :D :D !!!!!!!!!)

    3) 2 mins into the movie when Uma's character got popped (in B&W) right as she was explaining that Bill was the poppa for her baby, that actually made me jump out of my seat!!!!!!!!

    4) When this movie comes out on DVD, I hope they piece it together as the original 3 hour movie format; I wouldn't have minded sittiing thru another hour of this movie vs. having to wait until February for Part 2 :D :D !!!!!!!!!

    5) In the ANIME SCENE explaining O-Ren's origins, it was never fully explained why the mob killed her folks. I think Bill had nothing to do with this; He simply bankrolled her so she could control the Tokyo mob.

    6) Yall notice when GoGO was getting ready to fight Uma (and the big ass ball dropped on the floor) she didn't say 'Hmmmmmmmmm?' ? If you peep the trailer, she does say this . . Why the change?

    7) I might have to see this movie again . . . Who ami kidding, I might have to go see it again everyday for the rest of the week :D :D !!!!!!

Just got back home after seeing the flick. Awesome! Love the way he blended genres & styles, & the over-the-top-arterial-blood-spurting violence. The bouncing around in time was brilliantly done, even better than Pulp Fiction, IMO. I thought the huge sword-fight scene was a bit OVER-exaggerated, but still--huge fun.

This is one of those flicks I'll have to see multiple times; & I'll STILL be feeling like I've missed something. But hey, I love a challenge :)

Yeah Larry, but it's not just the blood & guts. It's just so outrageous & bizarre, I was horrified & laughing at the same time. Very weird . . . . And what can I say, I like weirdness :)

    i like weirdness, too.

but if i want to see people getting their faces blown off and ears cut off and blood and torture intermixed with music and more profanity than a richard pryor concert -- well, i've seen it all before. from the same director.

i was really hoping that speed freak would do something a bit more groundbreaking. he's gone from being america's next great director to being america's greatest public masturbator.

I dunno--maybe it's because I haven't seen all his films--just Pulp Fiction & this one. Maybe once I rent the others I'll start thinking it's just the SOS. But I enjoyed both of these, so I can't complain.
