    i've got a cool story about kid rock. when he was in town a couple of years ago i was friends w/ a guy who worked at 106.5 and he hooked it up for me. i got to hang out w/ him most of the night. this man had more hot chicks following us (or him) around all night. he also made sure i always had something to drink. as soon as i get a scanner, i'll post some pictures.

    It was at the race during the rain delay. My boss had a cooler of Bud Light, so that's what we were both drinking. The media decided to have a rain delay beer since we had to sit around for 3 hours. He actually was pretty nice, and keep in mind, I'm still not a kid rock fan.

    Kid Rock's OK. I was surprised to learn he has an actual singing voice. I just don't like how people consider him to be "heavy metal." He's not. At a stretch, you might call his music rock or metal-influenced rap. But not heavy metal.

    I'm sure he's a cool, down-to-earth guy and a blast to party with. But people, get your labels straight!

    I just listened to "Only God Knows Why" the video. I was really surprised, as MALICE said, this guy can actually sing. Reminded me of an old Lynyrd Skynyrd Ballad. Pretty song. Also, "picture" with Sheryl Crow is a nice country sounding song. Cool. :cool:
