Colbert must be breathing a little easier now. There had to have been some underlying issues other than 'we want to get younger'. I'm wondering if he rubbed someone the wrong way. He seemed to beat around the bush as to whether he was coming back this year.

Always possible. I'm sure we were a little pissed off at the way he handled the Henning firing. Did that get him cut? I don't think so.

Don't want to crap on Key, either. He's a gamer and a good teammate. Unfortunate that it had to end after one year, but I appreciate what he brought to the table.

I don't get it, personally. We have no reason to specifically get "younger". You can fit what we had together, and make it work. And it's certainly not as if we're going to do something with the cap space at all.

No reason he shouldn't have been on this squad this year at minimum.

    Absoulte and utter bullshit.

Anytime I heard Keyshawn interviewed, he never singled Jake out or anything along those lines. Beyond that, I can't recall him being specifically responsible for any of Jake's interceptions, so shame on the team if they actually asked him to do that.

He sound not surprise about the move. Also said that reason he released had something to do with the way Keyshawn rub someone in the Management or a player he did not say which one it was Also he said that panthers did not like the he said that won’t be like Brett Favre who before told the packers just before Training Camp he was coming back. Also he said that they did not like that he told them I’m going to retire if Dan Henning. Also he said that had the panthers did not draft a Big WR such Dwayne Jarrett that Key might have been back. FYI packman said that he would try to have Hurney later on to se if he can explain with is the reason for the Cats releasing key

Key was responsible for the INT in the Cinny and eagles game

Key has rubbed his employers the wrong way everywhere he's ever been. The Bucs hated him so much they just asked him to stay away.

Something like that must have happened.

Yep. And he didn't take Jake off the hook either game.

Not that he has to do that - but he was asked to and didn't.

Whatever. He rubbed his employers the wrong way, again.
