    16 starts 70 receptions 815 yards 5 tds is great for a #2 and he will be sorely missed.

    Those are good numbers for a number 2 receiver, but I don't think he would have gotten those numbers again this year.

    Agree he was not a media distraction. Leadership can be different in different circumstances, and with different teammates. I also wouldnt put too much in any public pronoucements. Most of them lie when it comes to not bad mouthing players. (With some obvious exceptions.)

    While I can't confirm that some teammates hated him, I can believe they cut him in part for that reason. Its true that winning breeds liking, but why bother. They're not going to build the team around him. He was good, but not a great player by any means. In a year where they really looked at chemistry, I'm buying this could have been a big factor. I don't know that it was, but it doesn't ring false to me.
