One sources says he is out for the year. Freeman looks better now... but then again I think Prohel is better than anything we had last year aside from a good attitude Moose.

Freeeman played in the WCO, and Dyson played in a run oriented O (kind of). I think Dyson's stats are more impressive.

BUT this is Dyson's 3rd major ligament/tendon injury. Not surprised at all, and it has nothing to do with jinxes. He's injury prone. Freemena isnt (that I know of) so that gets him major points. Freeman is NOWHERE near as fast, so we lose the ability to stretch the field (unless Smith can do that.) But we do probably pick up route running and catch the ball reliability

that is, IF we can sign him. Apparently he's asking for more than anyone wants to pay him. But he may just be asking for 1 mil a year or so. I'd give him that.

This sucks I was really hoping he could turn his career around here. I guess worst case we are going to have Smith and Moose starting again with Proehl as the third guy. It should create playing time for our draft pick, can't remember his name right off but the seventh rounder. I would not sign a guy unless he is going to help us. Freeman seems pretty close to washed up to me.

How about Quadry Ismail. He still has some speed.

At this point where all the f/a that have true value are long gone I really hope that our 7th rd selection (wr) is a true gem

    Man did we need Dyson.
Moose, Smith, Proehl, Hankton, Young . . . that’s it folks. Aside from Smith we got possession type guys who don’t scare anyone. It might be a nice group way down deep in the redzone but WE HAVE TO GET DOWN THERE FIRST. Maybe we should put Cooper at WR. I hope we draft THREE friggin’ blazing fast WRs with our first 3 picks next year.)

Every team has set backs, that's why you build depth. We just need more depth at WR. I think we're over reacting just a bit.

As far as Freeman goes, I don't think was really involved in that offense. They have a lot of weapons. He's only played 9 seasons? I thought he was older than that. We might could sign him to a 4 or 5 year deal.

How many games did Dyson play in last year anyway?
