    Freeman last yr: Rec-46 Yrds-600 Avg-13.0 Long-59t TD-4

    Dyson last yr: Rec-41 Yrds-460 Avg-11.2 Long-40 TD-4

    Comparable. Freeman would probably be the #2 outside guy - basically like Dyson would have been. He doesn't have Dyson's speed which sucks.

    it's my fault guys...I never bought into Dyson being until now. Don't blame Brain.


    Gadsden... Hell yeah! Did he sign with the Pats though? Freeman, that'd be cool. Tai Streets, JJ Sokes, go for it, bring them both in here.

    We better go get 2 WR's anyway, or that 7th round steal will be starting before we know it.

    Part of me thinks JJ could do well in the right place. I mean the guy has had to play behind 2 of the best WR to ever strap on a uniform (Rice / Owens)... just when one leaves the team he thinks he might be the #2 guy then this Streets kid comes in, JJ has a few issues... etc. etc.

    WR Dyson Tears Achilles Tendon

    Panthers wide receiver Kevin Dyson tore his left Achilles tendon Wednesday morning during the team's summer school workout and is scheduled to have surgery Thursday morning. Dr. Pat Connor will perform the surgery on Dyson at Carolinas Medical Center. Dyson is expected to be placed on the physically-unable-to-perform list entering training camp.

    Carolina had signed Dyson on March 21 as an unrestricted free agent from the Tennessee Titans. In five NFL seasons, Dyson has played in 58 games with 54 starts and has tallied 176 receptions for 2,310 yards and 18 touchdowns.
