Kerry Collins

Think we would be any farther along had Collins gotten sober in Charlotte while sitting behind B-Line. I still think Capers handled that situation poorly. Collins looks great at times especially last week. Better right now than anyone we have had since except maybe B-Line in his career year.

 

what a game between philly and the giants- shockey, although he can get on my nerves at times, is a damn player and collins throws one of the prettiest balls in the league. great game. now, nawlins has to win and the fulkins have to lose for the aints to make it.

 

I was hoping someone would not Shockey on his ass. The Eagles safety did that and Shockey still caught the ball. Then he takes the ball right out of one of the Eagles DBs hand for a touchdown. He's one of the few superstars playing TE and he's only a rookie.

 

there were 2 thoughts going through my head simultaneously as i saw stats on the screen:

1. with the giants rolling up 400+ yards, how could they not be kicking the eagles ass??

2. with the giants committing 4 turnovers, how could the eagles not be kicking the giants ass??

tiki barber really redeemed himself by his OT running. still, 4 fumbles is downright pathetic- however, he did ring up 170 on the ground. shockey is a beast and plays with infectuous passion for the game. he's a player and he has the tools and passion to be the best TE in the game. collins is my man- he threw some damn impressive balls and evaded the rush pretty well. his accuracy has seemed to improve 10-fold since he was with carolina.

did anyone see fassel rip into the kicker after he shanked the 35 yder??

something of the sort- "run your lazy ass off the field instead of walking." fucking classic.

 

Collins was the deciding factor that made me a Panther fan over the Jags, so I often vist this question. The answer I usuaully come to is that all parties are better off. I think Collins would have had a tough go of it without the change of addy.
