    Absolutely untrue. Dean often called timeouts during runs and made sure that he had a good set play that would yield points.

    Roy needs to call timeouts during some of these runs - especially with a young team.

    We're talking about the same guy who would yank his starting five off the court and put in walk-ons if they weren't playing hard. I never remember Dean being afraid of calling a TO.

    You're right! UNC & Kansas: Traditionally strong basketball schools!
    Recruiting is easier when these schools are winning.

    As much to slow down the other team's momentum, not just get his team right. He doesn't need to rip them a new one or talk great strategy - just get them to focus on what they are supposed to be doing.
