    I have no respect for anyone that uses substances to enhance his body to perform better in their sport and then tell the kids its ok to use them. Im ashamed to know Ken Caminiti was an Atlanta Brave and was very surprised that John Schuerholz didnt can/trade him sooner. The errors he made in his younger days, came to haunt him.

    Oh and by the way, Bonds, McGwire, Lyle Alzado, and others dont get mine either. Hank Aaron will still be the home run king even though Bonds may get more...At least Hank did them cleanly.

    I must have missed the press conference Caminiti had where he told all the kids to take drugs.

    Geeze it's hard to fathom how some people think.

    It sucks he used drugs, either performance enhancing or recreational drugs. But that doesn't mean he was a bad person. He came clean on the steroid use, one of the few that did come clean while he was still playing. But it's a shame he couldn't control his other drug addictions.

    And it's not like he "got away" with anything. Instead he paid the ultimate price by dying way before his time.

    i heard dan patrick talk about him today and said that ken caminiti was a very unhappy person,unhappy with what he had done in his pro life and private life.........he was alone alot,prolly really depressed.dan said it wouldnt surprise him if it was a coke overdose..........3
