    no shit. I've always liked kasey, but damn it looks like we shoulda stuck with nedney after 2000.

    Kasay should be replaced IMO. He just isn't getting it done anymore. The guy doesn't even kick off for crying out loud! I would say good luck to Kasay and bring in someone else.

    They're looking at Holmes, who was the guy in here for preseason, they're looking at Tim Seder (Cowboys I believe), Michael Husted(he was one of the original two kickers on NOah's boat) and John Pelfrey (who they liked in 00).

    Panthers in search of another kicker
    The Panthers suffered a big blow Wednesday when kicker John Kasay re-injured his groin in practice. Kasay had been bothered by groin problems throughout the preseason. Panthers management put in calls to several kickers around the league and might look at Tim Seder and Jaret Holmes along with a few others. Kasay was two for five in field goals in two games and has scored 11 points.

    Holmes doesn't have good range.

    Who did Pelfrey kick for?

    Seder would be OK.

    These guys are all a major step down from Kasay in his prime.
