is he any kin to cortez hankton, the jags' rookie receiver? the only connection i can find is that they both went to HS in new orleans.

that dude cortez tore it up last year at texas southern for about 8 straight games.

It'd be nice if Hankton starts. All I ask is that he catches the balls thrown to him. All of them. :D

Honestly though and at the risk of offending his wife (not intentational) it would mean we'd get to see a lot more of Young when he's playing for the second team. We've seen Hankton. We'd like to see what everyone is excited about with this rookie that catches everything thrown to him.

    See what I mean?

It's probably gonna come down to him v/s Smart, fro and all.
Figure that Smart's as good a ST player, better offensive player and I think he can return kicks, but we really don't need the last two. WR will be thinner.

Smart is no where near the ST player Hankton is

Smart is no where near the character the Hankton is

We are so deep at RB, no way Smart has spot regardless of what they do with Hankton

Hankton caught a couple of balls at Fan Fest, looked pretty good too. We need WR depth. Besides that, Hankton is still learning the WR position, and this will be his second year in Hennings offense just like everybody else.

Still, I'd love to see what Hankton could do in the secondary the way he can hit.

seems like Smart led the team in ST tackles, but I guess that means there is someone better...at least until now that Coop's back.
