    Justin Morneau of the Minnesota Twins won the American League MVP today. Great season by a great young hitter. To beat out Derek Jeter was somewhat of a suprise. Maybe Jeter's power numbers, only 14 HR's hurt him.

    There must have been a lot of anti-Jeter sentiment because the vote doesn't make much sense.
