I'm about 95% sure Piper's a white dude. Good call on having the most ignorant post in here, Homer - which is hard to do considering all the "show me where Bonds used steroids" posts 26 laid in here.

And to get it out of the way, I'm not a Giants fan or a Bonds fan. If fact, I'll watch the WS, and that's about it. I just don't like when people only point at one bad apple when the whole orchard is rotten. It smacks of hypocracy.

That, and since I'm moving this week, I felt like getting into an argument. BA!

Apparently Bonds isn't the only one who thinks Ruth may have something to do with the increased scrutiny. Given the leading nature of the above questoin, I guess the reporter does to. So do I.

Three things seperate Bonds from Giambi. Giambi does not have stats that put him amoung the game's all time elite, Giambi is white, and Giambi is more likeable and press friendly.

Its silly to pretend none of these things have an impact.

Off to Cali now. And since I don't have a baseball team, and already follow other teams in other sports, I guess I'll adopt the Los Angeles Angels of the Anahiem aka Anahiem Angels, aka California Angels. Hopefully, some of thier players will be on undetectable steroids so they won't suck.

Where has anyone said that him being about to break the roecord had nothing to do with the scrutiny? There has always been some scrutiny because he suddenly started getting really big in his 30's, and his forhead kept growing too. But there was no proof - now there is.

Babe Ruth being white didn't have anything to do with that.

 

They rank right up there with all of his USC is overrated and has no chance of going undefeated posts.
