doesn't matter....if you saw them Saturday night, their OL is so good they could have a grandmother average 4 yards per carry. Mo Hall and Lydell Ross don't exactly suck either. The defense could be better than last year and more physical...the new DBs made some wicked hits to break passes up.

 

I'm hearing he is done for the year...he'll either transfer or try to enter the NFL draft.

 

would be kinda landmark if he did something strange like go to the supplementary draft.

 

How does that work? I heard Rome talking a little about it on my way back to work from lunch, but didn't catch it all.

 

I wish he would go ahead and challenge the rule. It sure beats my having to sit around and listen to people talk about him being some kind of victim all season. Good fucking riddance.

 

They hold occasional supplemental drafts to the annual college draft so that players who don't have eligibility anymore, or decided to come out early after the draft, can go to the NFL. I think it's a stupid thing to still have it, and it's rarely used anymore.
Basically, a random draft order is set after a player or two declares for it. If a player is picked, that team forfeits the pick in the next draft. It's a huge gamble to pick a player in an earlier round, because obviously you're guessing that the player will be better than whoever you're going to get in that upcoming round next year, when you don't even really know your future needs or where you're picking in that round.

Thanks, now I know why I don't know much about it. Does sound kind of cheesy. So it basically is an out for a player that messes up or can't hack it.
