Dale Sr. always said she was the brains and the person that made DEI a successful company. Sure he was the man behind it, but she knew how to market him and how to handle to financial aspects. He wasn't the only one that put his life into DEI. From all reports, she did too. Why she is now tearing it down, I have no idea.

That is why I think Jr. starts his own company. Why buy a dog with fleas?

Viv Bernstein made the nice comparison in a question asking Jr. if DEI had become "TEI"...Viv was right. It's all about T now, and Dale's kids be damned.

Brutal way to honor one of the best stock car drivers ever.

Actually, I think his dad would do the same thing. I bet he is proud of his son for busting out and doing his own thing like a real man like Dale was.

yep..this NEVER happens if sr was alive. Im not sure how Teresa sleeps at night. Sr built the company for his kids, not her and she pretty much pissed on all of them.

Now he can go to another team and find out that with more resources he's still only an average driver..

she will still make a nice living off of the "in memory of 3" bumper stickers. they should start printing " in memory of DEI 1996-2007"

    exactly my point.

Trace--Dale Sr. would be fine with this decision made by Jr, considering how all this has played out. Hope he comes to haunt Teresa's dreams.

Personally, the red Budweiser number 3 of Richard Childress Racing would look sweet.
